Media Prima SME Digitalisation Grant

Media Prima Digital (also known as REV Media Group) is one of the eligible MDEC TSPs (Technology Service Provider) in this program.

Small and Medium Enterprises ("SME") Digitalisation Grant is an initiative from the government - Ministry of Finance (MOF), Bank Simpanan Nasional, SME Bank, and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). A matching grant is available to support the eligible SMEs to adopt digitalisation in their daily operations.

As announced in Malaysia’s 2020 Budget presentation, the Government will provide a 50% matching grant of up to RM5,000.00 per SME over a period of 5 years for the subscription of digital services that will enhance their productivity.

Who is eligible to apply for the SME Digitalisation Grant?

SMEs that fulfil the following criteria are eligible and encouraged to apply

  • The SME must be at least 60% owned by Malaysian;

  • The SME must be registered under the relevant laws of Malaysia and classified as SME

  • The SME have been in operation for at least six (6) months

  • The SME has a minimum annual sales turnover of RM50,000
